I want to use this blog to share what i believe and answer any questions that anyone has on christianity. If your not a christian we can talk about our different beliefs. I won't judge you or try to shove the bible down your throat, i just want to have a respectful argument about religeon or non-religeon. Please dont just ignore this blog right away, everyone is hurting and hope is the only thing that keeps us going, and God has given me a hope that can never be shaken, and He wants to give it to you too, if you're open to what he has to say.

Question with 1 note

Anonymous asked: Why do you know God exist? I'm sorry I am sure this is a common question, but I have my reasons and I want to know yours and others.
I believe because I think its inconsiderate to think otherwise. There are too many coincidences and it feels wrong not to have someone to thank. That's one of my reasons for believing....your turn.

no problem, sorry it took so long to answer, and thanks for being so respectful, im not the kind of person who thinks that everything revolves around God’s plan, i think somethings are coincidences, but i have seen God work in peoples lives, and i have watched Him take people that are broken and incomplete (one of them was me) and build them into something new, something beautiful. its hard to explain the existance of someone who cant see, but (i know this one is used a lot) God is like the wind, he cant be seen, but you can feel him, and you see the things that he is moving. Just like the wind moves the dust off the ground, God can move people, He can take them when they are broken and transform them. Being a christian doesnt make you perfect and life gets a lot harder, but God will give you the strength to endure and in the end, you know that it will be worth it. I hope that answered your question and im sorry if you still dont get it, and i hope you will get it someday. God is always there, he’s waiting for you with open arms and all you have to do is run to Him

sorry, i misread your question, i thought you said that it feels wrong to have someone to thank, sorry about that, but ill leave my answer up incase its something God wants someone to read

I was just thinking about the motto of this movie, “Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.” It is so true, sometimes we can let fear get in the way of our walk, fear of what people think, fear of failure, fear of disapointment. But hope can save us from that fear, and there is not greater hope than that which is found in Jesus. Have hope in Jesus and he will set you free from all the fear that has been holding you prisoner. So i would like to make my own version of this quote: Sin can hold you prisoner. Christ can set you free.

This is how my brain works, no joke, my brain makes up these fantasies and my expectations are so different from my realities. I think one thing will end up going one way, but it ends up going a completley different dirrection. Then when i look back on my expectations i realize that they were too high and just a fantasy my mind tricked me into thinking. I guess what i want to say is don’t always expect that you know what will happen in your future, because ultimatley it’s up to God. He could have a completly different plan than what you expect. And you shouldn’t be discouraged when your expectations don’t meet reality, just know that God has a better plan. And another thing, Heaven is going to be the greatest thing you will ever experience. The reality of heaven will surpass your expectations by far! So continue to strive after God and know that His plan is best.

I was just thinking about peter pan recently, probally because i just rode it at disneyland a few weeks ago. But anyways, its all about kids who dont want to grow up, and i feel like that can relate to our spiritual walk. We may want to follow Christ, but we often forget to have intimate prayer and so many of us forget to read our Bibles. We don’t grow in our faith at all, we just stay immature in our faith. I was guilty of this for the longest time. We get stuck in a spiritual neverland and we dont grow up. This might sound a little harsh, but if you are a true christian, then you should be growing in your faith more and more each day. And if your not you need to make an effort or reevaluate your relationship with God. By the end of the movie they realize that life without adults is chaos and everyone needs to grow up. So i encourage you to get out of that spiritual neverland and grow up in Christ.

verse of the day

Proverbs 17:9

Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it spearates close friends.

This is so true, if you truely love someone, then you will forgive them when they hurt you, and not just the fake forgiveness when you “forgive” them but still have feelings of resentment or loss of trust, but truely and sincerly moving on. They saying forgive and forget is good advice, but you’ll always remember what they did to you, whether you want to or not, but true forgiveness is being reminded of that and truely letting those hatefull feelings go. So forgive and let go.

prayer requests

i was thinking, i could use this blog to tell people about different prayer requests and to get prayer requests from other people.

I found out that one of my friends had been raped a few years ago, im praying that God will comfort her and let her know that it is not her fault, so if your willing to pray for her, I’d really appreciate it

and if you have any prayer requests let let me know, and if its personal dont be afraid to share just say it anon

So, i’ve been thinking latley, ever fairytale has it’s happily ever after, prince charming comes and saves the princess, everything works out for the best, true love conquers all. We are bombarded with this stuff all the time. So can life be like a fairytale? The typical answer is no, there’s not always a happily ever after. But I think life can be a fairytale, but our happily ever after doesn’t happen when we meet our true love and live the rest of our lives happy and in love, but our lives are a story that goes beyond death. Our happily ever after is when we get to be with God forever. He is our true love, He is our prince charming, or knight in shining armor, and i know this is a weird concept for guys to think about, but just think about from a different aspect of love, a love that we are not use to. So do you want your happily ever after? Pursue God with all your heart, and I guarentee you’ll get it.
